Here are the updates for Milestone M33 (April 07 - April 20)
Addon Cloning Feature: Introduced the ability to clone existing addons, enabling users to quickly create copies of their databases with ease.
Traefik V3 Migration: Successfully completed the migration to Traefik V3. Traefik is the proxy that handles routing of all traffic to applications hosted on NeetoDeploy. This is a major upgrade and it enhances our infrastructure’s stability and performance.
Cloudwatch Logs Proof of Concept: Completed a POC to stream historic and live logs using AWS Cloudwatch, paving the way for improved observability.
Revamped Neeto-Github-Engine: Rolled out the new and improved version of Neeto-Github-Engine, to NeetoDeploy, NeetoCI and other products that has Github integration. This ensures code standardisation and solves the multiple issues that existed with Github integration across Neeto products.
Postgres Addon Optimizations:
Added a cache-clearer sidecar container to improve performance.
Migrated storage from GP2 to GP3, resulting in cost savings and enhanced storage efficiency.
NeetoCI Platform Expansion: Completed a POC to leverage NeetoCI as a generic execution platform for other Neeto products.
Performance Improvements and Bug Fixes: Implemented several optimizations and fixes to further enhance system performance and user experience.
Phasing Out Neeto Cert Manager: Began the process of deprecating Neeto Cert Manager. Previously, it automated the generation and renewal of free SSL certificates via Let’s Encrypt, eliminating the need for expensive third-party certificates. However, since all our product domains are now routed through Cloudflare — which provides reliable edge certificates — Neeto Cert Manager is no longer necessary.
Let's get started now.
